...moments of resonance that catalyze an internal sense of healing, empowerment, and rebellion.
My artwork seeks to capture the strength, knowledge, and beauty of the feminine spirit through figure drawing, natural elements, and abstraction. Inspired by the Vienna Secession and Abstract Expressionism, I favor line work and raw textures, striving to create multiple levels of visual interest. Overall, the form is striking and discernable from a distance, but as the viewer moves closer various layers of detail emerge. In this way, the depth of human emotion is reflected and subconsciously experienced firsthand.
Interested in how women develop, embody, and grapple with the idea of self-worth, I am fascinated by how humans derive value through connection with self, through others, and nature. I believe that challenging the status quo and questioning what societal norms promote is critical to personal growth and wellness.
Aiming to offer my audience an opportunity to reflect on personal memories and experiences, I hope that these moments of resonance catalyze an internal sense of healing, empowerment, and rebellion.
